Automating RFQ Bidding Process:

About the Client

Freight Tiger is a leading logistics technology platform that streamlines transportation and supply chain operations. The company sought to enhance its RFQ (Request for Quotation) bidding process to make it smoother, more transparent, and automated

Challenges

Freight Tiger was facing inefficiencies in its RFQ management process, which was still largely manual despite other areas of the business being fully digitized. They required automation for routine tasks, enhanced audit capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple bidding rounds with real-time updates and flexible adjustments.

Our Solution

Bellurbis developed a comprehensive RFQ management system, automating the entire process from RFQ creation by the consignor to real-time bidding participation and contract awarding to transporters. Key features included:

  • Automated Reminders:
Notifications sent to transporters who hadn’t participated, improving engagement
  • Multiple Bidding Rounds:
Flexibility to manage several rounds seamlessly
  • Detailed Audit Trails:
    Transparent and trackable RFQ activities

The platform supported three key user roles:

  • Logistics Manager:
Oversees the dashboard, creates RFQs, and monitors RFQ status.
  • Logistics Head:
Approves and publishes RFQs, and generates contracts for selected transporters.
  • Transporter:
Views the dashboard, participates in the bidding process, and finalizes contracts through DocuSign.
